Volunteer With Veterinary Care Everywhere
Please note: To volunteer with VCE you must be 18 years of age or older, attend a mandatory orientation program and dedicate a minimum of three hours per month.
If you are as passionate as we are about ensuring accessible and affordable veterinary care is available to ALL pets, join us! Volunteer opportunities are varied, and all are crucial to our mission of providing free or low-cost veterinary care to vulnerable populations in our state.

In consideration of the opportunity to provide volunteer services for Veterinary Care Everywhere, Inc., a nonprofit, nonstock corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Connecticut (“Veterinary Care Everywhere”), I hereby release Veterinary Care Everywhere and each of its directors, officers, employees, agents, and each of their respective successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) on the terms set forth in this Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability (the “Release”).
1. Nature of Relationship. I understand (i) that the scope of my relationship with Veterinary Care Everywhere is limited to a volunteer position and that no compensation is expected in return for services provided by me, (ii) that Veterinary Care Everywhere will not provide any benefits traditionally associated with employment to me, and (iii) that I am responsible for my own insurance coverage in the event of personal injury or illness as a result of my services to or on behalf of Veterinary Care Everywhere.
2. Waiver and Release. I release and forever discharge and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or have arisen from services provided by me to or on behalf of Veterinary Care Everywhere. I understand and acknowledge that this Release discharges the Released Parties from any liability or claim that I may have against the Released Parties, including but not limited to liability or claims with respect to bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from the services I provide to or on behalf of Veterinary Care Everywhere or occurring while I am providing such services.
3. Medical Treatment. I expressly waive any claim for compensation or liability on the part of the Released Parties in the event of injury or medical expenses incurred by me. I further release and forever discharge the Released Parties from any claim whatsoever that arises on account of any first-aid treatment or other medical services rendered in connection with an emergency during my tenure as a volunteer with Veterinary Care Everywhere.
4. Assumption of Risk. I understand that the volunteer services I provide to Veterinary Care Everywhere may include activities that may be hazardous to me, including but not limited to interaction with animals. I hereby expressly assume the risk of injury or harm from these activities and release the Released Parties from all liability associated with such activities.
5. Other. As a volunteer, I expressly agree that this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Connecticut and that this Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut. I agree that, in the event that any clause or provision of this Release is deemed invalid, the enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Release shall not be affected.
By signing below, I express my understanding and intent to enter into this Release willingly and voluntarily.
